Active airflow shutters improve the Palisade's aerodynamics, and a new, more upright A-pillar gives it a bolder look.
Although the front overhang of the Palisade is now 1.6 inches shorter, the overall length has increased by 2.5 inches. An increase of nearly three inches in the wheelbase translates to greater passenger room within the vehicle.

Hyundai Palisade Performance
Buyers of the new 2026 Hyundai Palisade can select from two different powertrains. The available engines include a newly designed direct-injection 3.5-liter V6, capable of delivering 287 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. An 8-speed automatic transmission comes standard. It is offered with two-wheel drive or an optional HTRAC four-wheel drive system. This thing's strong; it'll pull 5,000 pounds with no problem.
A new hybrid electric engine is an option for Palisade buyers. It features a 258-horsepower, 2.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine. With two electric motors incorporated into the engine's six-speed automatic transmission, an extra 90 horsepower is generated, creating a combined 329 horsepower and 339 lb-ft of torque. Hyundai estimates that the car will get about 30 mpg on the highway, with a targeted range of almost 620 miles per tank of gas. Also, the Palisade Hybrid can tow as much as 4,000 pounds.
